Help us to make music and continue to entertain.

From twice-weekly rehearsals, to organising concerts, booking guest artistes, and ensuring our music team are available when, and wherever we need them, all come at a price.

The costs associated with running a successful Choir are not insignificant. We rely mostly on subs paid by our choristers to cover our operating costs, but as we all know, the cost of living crisis we are all experiencing is hitting us hard. We try to be realistic with our ticket pricing, but the costs of booking venues (even chapels) are going up and up. Factor in coach travel, paying for St. John Ambulance to be present, booking musical staff and covering associated costs of organising a concert, and it can be easily a four or five figure outlay.

Whether it is concerts aimed at the public at large, supporting schools with their St. David’s Day Eisteddfod’s, or having a Christmas Carols singalong for elderly care residents housebound in a care home, we do it all. We are happy to fundraise for charities too as long as our base costs such as coach hire, music team and associated costs are covered.
